I love listening to music, but if I want to tune out, I turn on the radio and CBC usually lets me go to my happy place!Carli The Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00733894801130646276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6347755432533153540.post-16143181396894577942015-09-24T06:13:21.406-07:002015-09-24T06:13:21.406-07:00I like your take on modern! I tend to just leap off the bridge and hope for the best. Sometimes I drown and sometimes I fly. Fortunately I don't much care which it is - I just enjoy the process.Magpie's Mumblingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09852241848575954128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6347755432533153540.post-24004120528091030712015-09-22T09:05:22.763-07:002015-09-22T09:05:22.763-07:00Excellent Jo, I love to play and feel the freedom ...Excellent Jo, I love to play and feel the freedom to make a mistake, not like it and then cut it up and take the pieces another direction. Then I discovered the variety of ways that textiles are consumed with chemicals in the total processing from the simple fibre to the cotton we love so much. I urge you to learn more as it makes us better informed consumers and our choices affect the manufacturing process. Thanks so much for your honest response!!Carli The Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00733894801130646276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6347755432533153540.post-14933657356296455042015-09-22T09:00:38.709-07:002015-09-22T09:00:38.709-07:00No, Oranga started out as piecing in a modern fash...No, Oranga started out as piecing in a modern fashion of random cuts, only colors picked out. Was the pieced border a design element from the beginning of Oranga? When I buy fabric, I usually purchase the best quality I can, and buy what catches my eye. I have never thought about checking to see how or where the cotton is grown. This is interesting....how would one know how to find out how the cotton is grown?Carol- Beads and Birdshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11062821517519300477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6347755432533153540.post-22207710198415307112015-09-21T20:32:37.199-07:002015-09-21T20:32:37.199-07:00I love the name of your quilt and I adore the colo...I love the name of your quilt and I adore the colour palette.
